No sooner had the finals of PGL Wallachia Season 1 died down than the next big tournament - DreamLeague Season 23 - is already getting ready for the Long Segment. The group stage starts today.

And it starts with some pretty cool matches, such as Gaimin Gladiators and PSG Quest. The format of the match, as before on DreamLeague - bo2.

We're trying to see if any of the teams will be able to earn a clean win or if everything will end in a draw.

Let's open the match analysis with PSG Quest's form. In this match they will play the number one with odds to win at around 2.3.

Quest Esports have been one of the biggest revelations of the season. They started their rise to the top with a top-5 finish at DPC 2023: WEU Upper Division Tour 2. The team fell one map short of reaching the Berlin Major 2023, but not enough.

In the third round of DPC 2023: WEU Tour 3 the team again showed a top game and that time they had enough. It was enough for the top 3 of the tournament, and as a result, they made it to The Bali Major 2023.

In 2024, PSG Quest tried desperately to beat Falcons at all kinds of qualifiers, but failed to do so: at the qualifiers for Dacha Dubai, DL Season 22 and ESL One Birmingham 2024 they finished in the top 2. There was also an attempt to qualify for PGL Wallachia Season 1, but they were already Top 6, as they tried to go through Western Europe.

Before playing at DL Season 23, they played at Elite League, where they finished in the Top 6.

Before playing at PGL Wallachia Season 1, GG played at ESL One Birmingham 2024, where they finished in the top 12. At the Romanian tournament itself, GG entered the play-offs with a 3-1 record.

In the first round of the PGL Wallachia Season 1 playoffs, GG's opponent was Team Liquid. Despite having a nominal advantage, GG failed to take advantage of it and win: 2-1 in Liquid's favour.
