Zeus told why T1 lost on the second map in the fight against NS RedForce

According to top laner Wu-jae 'Zeus' Choi didn't perform very well in the second map because he was looking for as many beautiful personal chances as possible rather than playing for the team. The favorite POG reaction from Twitch viewers became his motivational factor.

In an interview for Inven Global, the esportsman honestly shared that his performance could have been much better than what he showed:

I played very badly. I'm incredibly angry with myself. Camille's pick in game 1 was not only bad, but played poorly on it. Having taken Press the Attack on Renekton in the second game, I tried to press the enemy in the lane very hard, but I didn’t succeed at all. I even died helplessly from a gank. In the third game, everything leveled out so I could carry, but I couldn't do it.

Lately I've been practicing a lot on the Renekton. I should have played him better when he got stronger, but I didn't. I couldn't play as well as I could. My opponents also played well, but there were things that definitely disappointed us.

Zeus also said that playing those champions that he hadn’t been able to perform on the professional stage before is also an interesting experience:

I had the opportunity to play champions that I could not play on stage before - it's a good experience. There are so many top lane champions to play. The more champions I play, the more options I will have in the future, so I actively try to use different options in the top lane.

Zach is a very good champion when these long fights happen. Not only did my opponent choose Orn first, Zak also seemed like the best option in this scenario. I recently did some solo queue training with him and he was really good. So I decided to try it out tonight.

On August 10 and 13, T1 matches will take place against SANDBOX Gaming and DAMWON Gaming, respectively. The confrontations will take place as part of a regular split, after which the final stage of the championship will start.

According to Zeus T1 they really want to restore their playing form:

I think it's more important for us to get back in shape than to focus on the opponent's game plan. I got a lot of POG votes recently so I got greedy which led to my mistakes. I'm thinking about it and will definitely put my team's victory over my personal performance.

LCK Summer 2022, in which T1 takes part, runs from June 15 to August 28. The total prize pool of the Korean League is $287,000. All funds will be distributed among the four best teams. The winner will take home $153,000 and an invitation to the 2022 World Championship, while second, third and fourth place will each earn $76,500, $38,300 and $19,000. In addition, LCK Championship 2022 ranking points are up for grabs as part of the championship. They will help teams qualify for the 2022 World Championship.
