Прогноз на матч: Gen.G - BRION | LoL
LCK Spring 2024 - Group StageWelcome to EGamersWorld.
The immense LCK Spring 2024 continues to delight with its games. It's been going on for the second week and it won't end anytime soon.
Another game day is coming to an end, and in the decisive match Gen.G and BRION will play. The duel is, frankly, one of those that are not admirable. However, Gen.G in action is always entertaining.
Let's see if BRION can last more than 20 minutes in each map, or if Gen.G will sweep them away even faster.
Let's go.
Gen.G uniforms.
We start the match with an analysis of Gen.G's form. In this match they are the clear favourite, as they should be for the reigning LCK and Top 8 Worlds 2023 champions.
In the 2022 season, Gen.G finished top-2 at LCK Spring 2022 and won LCK Summer 2022 before travelling to Worlds 2022, where they still lost in dramatic fashion in the grand final match. However, this didn't do much to shake their position at the 2023 season's Long Segment.
In 2023, Gen.G won LCK Spring 2023, leaving no chance for T1 in the grand finals. A little less luck at MSI 2023, where Bilibili Gaming sensationally kept the Korean champions out of the finals.
- Gen.G line-up: Kiin, Canyon, Chovy, Peyz, Lehends.
At LCK Summer 2023, Gen.G made it to the play-offs without any problems. During the group stage, the titular Koreans gave up only 2 series, eventually finishing in 2nd place in the group stage table with a score of 16-2.
In their first play-offs match for themselves, Gen.G crushed HLE. HLE 3-0 and now Gen.G are ready to advance to the league finals for the second consecutive time.
The Grand Final is a rematch of the playoffs. Last round Gen.G beat T1 3-2 in a very tough series and I think the final will be the same.
And in the grand finals, they did it too. And it was even easier than in the match to get here: Gen.G became the LCK Summer Split champion by beating T1 3-1.
Worlds 2023 Gen.G started off with a solid win over Gam Esports. It was fast and painful for Gam with 22 minutes and only 5 kills for the Vietnamese.
In a 2-0 basket match, Gen.G played against their counterparts, and by extension, bitter rivals T1. The South Korean derby, like the last 4, ended in favour of Gen.G, as Chovy and his Akali left T1 with nothing to lose.
Gen.G advanced to the Worlds 2023 play-offs with a score of 3-0. In their final group stage match, they played against G2 Esports and, expectedly easily, ran over the Europeans 2-0.
Being one of the favourites for Worlds 2023, Gen.G couldn't handle the burden of responsibility and lost in the first round of play-offs, Ledgeiv BLG.
In the first match at LCK Spring 2024, Gen.G will be tested against T1. I'm sure the reigning LCK champions will be proud to pass it, as Gen.G are historically good at home against the Worlds 2023 champions. Following that, Gen.G will play Nongshim RedForce, where they should outplay their counterparts with unenviable ease.

In the forest were Vi (11 matches, 72% wins), Sejuani (10 games, 80% wins), Wukong (7 matches, 85% wins), Le Sin (6 games, 83% wins).

BRION Form
We continue to look at the match from the prism of BRION's form review. In this match they will play as a clear outsider.
BRION have been on the competitive scene of League of Legends for a long time, but they have not been able to collect results. Speaking specifically about LCK, they have been playing there since 2021.
In the 2021 season, the team had two back-to-back losses: at LCK Spring they were in the top 10, and at LCK Summer they were in the top 9. Then came 2022, but the performance didn't change at all: first top 6 at LCK Spring 2022, then top 9 at LCK Summer 2022.
Last season BRION strengthened a little bit, but they did. They finished top 8 at LCK Spring 2023 and top 8 at LCK Summer 2023.
- BRION roster: Morgan, GIDEON, Karis, Envyy, Effort.
The "veteran" of BRION is Karis. He has been playing in the team since last June.
In the first match of LCK Spring 2024 BRION will play against Dplus. As far as I'm concerned, there is very little chance of them winning there. Later BRION will have to play against DPlus and FearX. I think both of these matches will end in BRION's favour.
BRION's most popular champions
KSante (4 matches, 75% wins), Jax (2 matches, 0% wins), and Quinn (2 matches, 50% wins) are the top line.
Foresters include Sejuani (5 matches, 60% wins), Maokai (3 matches, 0% wins), Poppy (3 games, 33% winrate).
On the centre line Azir (3 matches, 33% win rate), Annie (2 matches, 50% win rate), Ahri (2 matches, 0% win rate), Orianna (2 matches, 100% win rate).
The most popular shooters are Aphelios (4 matches, 50% wins), Ashe (3 matches, 33% wins), Jinx (2 matches, 0% wins), Xayah (2 matches, 100% wins).
Supporting champions include Rell (4 matches, 50% wins), Rakan (2 matches, 100% wins), Nautilus (2 matches, 50% wins).
History of head-to-head meetings BRION - Gen.G
Previously, the teams have played each other 4 times during the season. Most surprisingly, BRION won the 2023 LCK Summer Split.
Predicted result of Gen.G - BRION match at LCK Spring 2024
Gen.G is an extra class team. Such opponents like BRION should be snapped without a sniff. I'm sure that will happen in this match, and the last match between Gen.G and BRION at LCK Summer 2023 is just an exception to the rule and no more.
Bottom line: Gen.G wins 2-0.
