Heroic, FaZe Clan, Soniqs and Team Liquid leave Six Invitational 2023
The meeting of the first round of the lower bracket of the playoffs of the Six Invitational 2023 has come to an end, according to the results of which the teams Heroic , FaZe Clan , Soniqs and Team Liquid . The presented teams spent their last attempts on a mistake, thus completing the competition and taking 13-16th place.
Even at the start of the game day, the European team Heroic failed to cope with Spacestation Gaming (0:2) and flew out of the championship. It is noteworthy that Heroic suffered two consecutive defeats in the playoffs, as the day before they lost to Oxygen Esports (0:2).
At the same time, the Brazilian team FaZe Clan lost to G2 Esports (1:2) and also said goodbye to the tournament. After an unsuccessful performance in the group, FaZe Clan suffers another defeat and takes 13th-16th place.
In the next session, the North American team Soniqs lost in an equal fight to Astralis (1:2), joining the eliminated participants. Recall that the team also lost to DarkZero Esports (1:2) the day before, falling into the lower bracket.
Next, the Brazilian team Team Liquid lost to Team BDS (1:2), also saying goodbye to the championship. Note that this is the first and last defeat of the Brazilians in the playoffs, as they went directly to the lower bracket after fourth place in group B.
