The first quarterfinal of the competition started on the Icebox map, which became the choice of the Philippine team. Nevertheless, after the change of sides, Team Secret players did not manage to show themselves, having stalled from the first rounds. Acend took advantage of this and quickly took the initiative and took the lead in the series - 13: 8.

Then the teams moved to the Breeze map, the first half of which again ended with an overwhelming advantage for the Acend players. The change of sides again did not help the Filipino collective to wake up. Once again, Acend quickly took advantage of the situation to get a convincing victory and reach the semifinals of VALORANT Champions 2021 - 13: 6.

Team Liquid - Cloud9 Blue

The second quarter-final started on the Bind map, which turned out to be the choice of the North American team. At the same time, the first half was held in an equal fight, since no one was able to demonstrate a consistent series. However, the side switching helped Team Liquid's players to come to their senses, as they showed exemplary defense, thereby gaining the advantage in the series - 13:10.

Next, the teams moved to Ascent. Here again the teams could not gain an advantage, exchanging rounds. And yet, before the change of sides, Cloud9 Blue managed to seize the initiative, having received a minimal advantage. However, in the second half, Team Liquid transformed their game again, once again showing reinforced concrete defense. The North American team could not cope with this, which finally stalled and left the championship - 13:11.

VALORANT Champions 2021 takes place from December 1st to December 12th in Berlin. Sixteen teams from all over the world are competing for a prize pool of $ 1,000,000. The winner of the tournament will receive $ 350,000, while the runner-up team will receive a little less - $ 150,000.
