VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: North America Stage 2 Challengers kicks off today

Today, May 13, the VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: North America Stage 2 Challengers will kick off. In the online championship, which will last until June 26, twelve teams from North America will compete for a prize pool of $200,000, rating points, and two tickets to the VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: Stage 2 Masters.

VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: North America Stage 2 Challengers Format

The championship will begin with a group stage, which will be held in a round robin format. All meetings will be held in BO3 format. The four best teams from each group will proceed to the playoffs, where they will compete for the main prize - two tickets to VCT 2022: Stage 2 Masters.

Group A:

• The Guard, TSM, XSET, NRG, Ghost Gaming and 100 Thieves.

Group B:

• OpTic Gaming, Cloud9, Sentinels, FaZe Clan, Luminosity Gaming and Evil Geniuses.

The winners of each group will advance directly to the semi-finals, while the 2nd to 3rd placed teams will form quarter-final pairings. In turn, the fourth team from each group will advance to the first round of the lower bracket. All playoff matches, with the exception of the lower bracket final and the grand final (BO5), will be played in the BO3 format.
