The Guard, Cloud9, TSM and Sentinels leave VCT 2022: North America Stage 2 Challengers

The VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: North America Stage 2 Challengers group stage has ended, following which The Guard, Cloud9, TSM and Sentinels left the championship. At the same time, the teams XSET, OpTic Gaming, Ghost Gaming, FaZe Clan, 100 Thieves, Evil Geniuses, Luminosity Gaming and NRG made it to the playoffs of the competition, where they will compete for two tickets to VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: Masters Stage 2 - Copenhagen.

Group A

The best team in group A unexpectedly became XSET, which got four wins in the group stage and also lost to 100 Thieves (0:2). The second line is occupied by the Ghost Gaming team, which also managed to get four victories, but lost to XSET (0:2) in a face-to-face confrontation. The team 100 Thieves made it from the third line in the playoffs of the championship, having won three victories and suffered two defeats. The final slot in the VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: North America Stage 2 Challengers playoffs went to NRG, finishing the group stage with two wins and three losses.

Group B

Group B was won by OpTic Gaming, which in the group stage of the championship won four victories and suffered one defeat from Evil Geniuses (1:2). FaZe Clan is on the second line, having won three victories and allowed two defeats. With exactly the same result, the Evil Geniuses team remained in third place, which lost to FaZe Clan (0:2) in a face-to-face match and could not be higher. Well, the last slot in the championship playoffs went to Luminosity Gaming, which finished the group stage with three wins and two losses.

VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: North America Stage 2 Challengers will run online from May 13 to June 26. Twelve teams from North America are battling it out for a $200,000 prize pool, ranking points, and two tickets to the 2022 VALORANT Champions Tour: Stage 2 Masters in Copenhagen.
