Ghost Gaming and Luminosity Gaming left VCT 2022: North America Stage 2 Challengers

Ghost Gaming and Luminosity Gaming have left the VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: North America Stage 2 Challengers. According to the results of the second gaming day of the playoffs, the teams lost to NRG (0:2) and FaZe Clan (1:2), respectively, thus depriving themselves of the opportunity to go to VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: Masters Stage 2 - Copenhagen.

FaZe Clan - Luminosity Gaming

The second match of the game day started on the Split map, the first half of which was held in an equal fight. However, after switching sides, Luminosity Gaming managed to make the difference to eventually take the lead in the series - 13:9.

Then the teams moved to the Fracture map, where FaZe Clan immediately began to correct the situation. But if the first half went in an equal fight, then after the switchover, FaZe Clan managed to knock down the opponent and equalize the score in the series — 13:5.

Everything was decided on the Breeze map, where the question of the winner of the meeting dragged on to overtime. However, here FaZe Clan was lucky to close the series in their favor, and at the same time knock out Luminosity Gaming from the championship — 14:12.

VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: North America Stage 2 Challengers runs from May 13 to June 26 online. As part of the championship, twelve teams from North America are fighting for a prize pool of $200,000, ranking points, and two tickets to the VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: Stage 2 Masters, which will be held in Copenhagen.
