Team DRX defeated FunPlus Phoenix 2-1 to qualify for the VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: Stage 2 Masters - Copenhagen playoffs. In turn, the European team will go to the lower bracket of group B, where they will compete for the right to the second ticket to the playoffs with the winner of the XERXIA meeting - Northeption.

The first match of the third gaming day started on the Haven map, which became the choice of the South Korean team. But if the first half ended with a minimal advantage in favor of DRX, then after the changeover, the Europeans showed a confident attack and quickly reduced the gap, and after that they took the lead. As a result, FunPlus Phoenix won the choice of an opponent and took the lead in the series — 13:8.

The teams then moved on to the Fracture map, which turned out to be the choice of FunPlus Phoenix. However, the DRX players were quick to make amends for their failure at their peak, showing an extremely convincing attack. Well, after the change of sides, the South Korean team did not let the opponent in, thanks to which they equalized the score in the series - 13:6.

The fate of the fight was decided on the Breeze map, the first half of which again ended in defeat in favor of the South Korean team. After switching sides, FunPlus Phoenix still tried to return to the game, but to no avail. As a result, DRX won the second victory in the group stage and made it to the playoffs of the championship — 13:6.

VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: Stage 2 Masters - Copenhagen takes place July 10-24 in Copenhagen in a mixed format. The first weeks of the championship will be held in a studio format, while the final three days will take place at the Forum venue. As part of the championship, twelve participants from Europe, the Americas, Brazil, Japan, South Korea, and Southeast Asia compete for a prize pool of $650,000, as well as ranking points needed to qualify for VALORANT Champions 2022.
