At some point, it seemed that Northeption would be able to turn the game around. However, FunPlus Phoenix managed to withstand the onslaught of the opponent in order to get the second victory in the group stage, and at the same time knock the Japanese out of the championship — 13:9.
The last participant in the playoffs of the championship will be determined tonight. OpTic Gaming and KRÜ Esports will clash in the decisive match of group A.
