DRX advanced to the semi-finals of VCT 2022: Stage 2 Masters Copenhagen

Team DRX outplayed Leviatán 2-1 to advance to the semi-finals of VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: Stage 2 Masters - Copenhagen. In turn, the Chilean team fell into the lower bracket of the championship, where they will play with the loser of the XSET match - OpTic Gaming.

The first quarter-final of the game day started on the Ascent map, which became the choice of the Chilean team. At the same time, the fight began with the total dominance of Leviatán, who lost only one round in the first half. After switching sides, DRX still tried to return to the game, but to no avail. As a result, the Chilean team got the victory at their own peak and took the lead in the series — 13:6.

Next, the teams moved to the Breeze map, which became the DRX's choice. Now the Korean team took the game into their own hands, closing the first half with a twofold advantage. Well, after the change of sides, DRX did not allow the opponent to recoup, thereby quickly equalizing the score in the series - 13:5.

Everything was decided on the Haven map, the first half of which again ended in defeat in favor of the South Korean team. After the switchover, Leviatán tried to return again, but it was too late. As a result, DRX managed to put the squeeze on the opponent, and at the same time made it to the semi-finals of the championship — 13:11.

VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: Stage 2 Masters - Copenhagen takes place July 10-24 in Copenhagen in a mixed format. The first weeks of the championship will be held in a studio format, while the final three days will take place at the Forum venue. As part of the championship, twelve participants from Europe, North and South America, Brazil, Japan, South Korea and Southeast Asia compete for a prize pool of $650,000, as well as ranking points needed to qualify for VALORANT Champions 2022.
