VALORANT Challengers dates announced for VCT
The exact dates for the Challengers tournaments have been announced.
According to the announcement, the championships will start in ten enlarged regions, some of which are divided into subgroups. For example, South America is divided into southern and northern parts. Oceania is divided according to a different parameter, where teams will be divided into India, the Philippines, Singapore, Hong Kong and Taiwan, as well as other countries in the region.
The Brazilian championship, as well as the Korean one, will begin on January 30th. The tournament for the CIS, Turkey and Europe will start simultaneously, on February 11. In oceania, VALORANT Challengers kicks off on February 5th. For the countries of South America, the championship will start on January 26. In North America, teams will compete for tickets from February 3 to 7. Note that the dates for the Challengers tournaments for Japan and the Middle East will be announced shortly.
Challengers is a series of qualifying tournaments for the VALORANT Champions Tour 2021. Each stage of the Challengers stage will consist of three championships. Eight teams will participate in each tournament, determined by the results of open qualifying matches. The best teams will advance to the final, where eight teams will compete for prizes and the opportunity to participate in the Masters stage.
