CDL Championship 2022 Preview

In just a couple of hours, the CDL Championship 2022 will begin - a long-awaited event for the best teams of the competitive season. Over the next three days, participants will compete for a prize pool of $2,550,000. Well, we offer to get acquainted with the format of the championship, teams, schedule and distribution of the prize fund of the championship.

Format of the CDL Championship 2022

The championship will offer participants a classic double elimination bracket. The teams will start their journey from the quarter-final stage, from where the winners will advance to the semi-finals, and the losers will fall into the lower bracket. All matches of the championship, with the exception of the grand final, will be held in the BO5 format. In turn, the final confrontation of the event will take place in the BO9 format.

• 1st place: $1,200,000
• 2nd place: $650,000
• 3rd place: $320,000
• 4th place: $160,000
• 5th-6th place: $80,000
• 7th-8th place: $30,000

CDL Championship 2022 will be held from August 4 to 7 in Los Angeles at the Galen Center. As part of the championship, the eight best North American and British teams of the season will compete for a total prize pool of $2,550,000.
