Evil Geniuses qualified for PGL Major Stockholm 2021. In the 5th place match at IEM Fall 2021 North America, the team beat EXTREMUM and earned enough RMR points to claim the right to go to the championship in Sweden.
The battle for RMR points began on Nuke, the Australian team's choice. However, Evil Geniuses quickly seized the initiative, providing a comfortable advantage before switching sides. But in the second half, the North Americans continued to push EXTREMUM, closing the map with a confident margin - 16: 6.
Next, the teams got to the Mirage map, the first half of which again went to Evil Geniuses. However, in attack, the Australian team looked too confident to take away the rival's peak and equalize the score in the series - 16:13.
The fate of the trip to PGL Major Stockholm 2021 was decided on the Inferno map, where after the first half it was difficult to single out a favorite.
