The list of participants of IEM Katowice 2022 is presented

The organizers presented the full roster of participants for the upcoming IEM Katowice 2022. 24 teams will take part in the championship, which will be held from February 15 to 27 in Katowice. The playoffs of the tournament are expected to take place on Spodek.
The eight strongest teams at the end of the season received direct tickets to the group stage of the championship. They are Natus Vincere, Gambit Esports, G2 Esports, Team Vitality, Heroic, Virtus.pro, FURIA Esports and Team Liquid.
The remaining sixteen teams will start their journey to IEM Katowice 2022 from the Play-In stage. This includes the teams that have taken high places in the ESL Pro Tour and ESL World Ranking, as well as the winner of ESL Mistrzostwa Polski: Autumn 2021.
Ninjas in Pajamas, Astralis, FaZe Clan, GODSENT, Extra Salt, MIBR, Renegades, TYLOO, BIG, Entropiq, OG, Copenhagen Flames, Fnatic, ENCE, MOUZ and Wisła Kraków will take part in the Play-In stage. Only eight of the represented teams will qualify for the group stage of IEM Katowice 2022. Six teams will advance to the playoffs of the championship and will compete for the main prize.
As a reminder, IEM Katowice 2022 has a prize pool of one million dollars. The winner of the championship will receive a prize of $ 400,000, while the runner-up team will receive $ 180,000
