FaZe Clan reached the grand final of IEM Katowice 2022

The FaZe Clan team beat Heroic with a score of 2:0 and reached the grand final of IEM Katowice 2022. Here the European team will play with G2 Esports, which turned out to be stronger than NAVI in its semi-finals.

The final semi-finals of the championship started on the Inferno map, which became the choice of FaZe Clan. At the same time, the “owners” started right off the bat, literally crushing the opponent. Still, the Danes managed to equalize the situation before the changeover, reducing the gap to five rounds. However, in the second half, FaZe Clan, despite Heroic's attempts to close the gap, decided not to shelve it, thus securing a confident victory of their own choice — 16:11.

Everything was decided on the map Nuke, which turned out to be the choice of the Danish team. However, here too Heroic failed to reveal its full potential, finishing the half in attack two times behind the opponent. At the same time, after switching sides, FaZe Clan managed to open up in the attack in order to finally dot the "i" and reach the grand final of IEM Katowice 2022 - 16:5.

IEM Katowice 2022 runs from 15 to 27 February. 24 teams from all over the world compete for a $1,000,000 prize pool.
