Champions of ELEAGUE Major: Boston 2018 used a camera bug?

According to the Dexerto portal, valens, who is the former Cloud9CS:GO roster coach and champion of ELEAGUE Major: Boston 2018, has repeatedly encountered a coaching bug long before the scandal and the ESIC proceedings. Videos on Dexerto's hands show valens using a camera bug on three maps a few years ago.

The first incident occurred during the closed qualifier for EPICENTER 2017 against Team Liquid in October 2017. On the Inferno map, Cloud9's trainer had access to an overview of one of the points on the map. In fairness, the team lost that meeting and did not go to the championship. A similar situation happened to valens in 2018 in the meeting against OpTic Gaming at ESL Pro League Season 7 North America.

Contacting Dexerto, valens explained that he had encountered the error "several times without knowing what it was." He stressed that he "didn't share any information with the team" and that he recalls being "annoyed" by the fact that he couldn't watch his players as usual.

I thought it was just another glitch and one day it would go away, so I contacted the tournament operator in the middle of the game. The rest of the time I tried to restart the game as soon as possible to fix it as I couldn't keep track of my players.

I definitely don't know how it happened and I didn't try to achieve it in any way. I hope that the lack of a pattern in achieving this game moment is self-evident to my intentions.

Interestingly, the 32-year-old specialist was not included in the investigation by ESIC, which, recall, issued a ban to 37 coaches for a period of several months to three years.

Recall that valens headed Cloud9 from 2017 to 2019.
