The second game day of the ESL Pro League Season 16 Conference has come to an end, as a result of which the teams Strife Esports, Encore Esports Club, Sprout and VERTEX Esports Club left the championship. At the same time, the EndPoint team qualified for the ESL Pro League Season 16 group stage, having won the second victory in the tournament.

cowana Gaming — Strife Esports

The first meeting of the gaming day started on the Overpass map, which became the choice of cowana Gaming. At the same time, the nominal “owners” showed two equal halves, having managed to secure an easy victory and took the lead in the series — 16:9.

The teams then moved to the Inferno map, the first half of which ended with a slight margin in favor of Strife Esports. However, after the side switch, the North American team disappeared from the server, as well as cowana Gaming quickly closed the gap, and then knocked out the opponent from the ESL Pro League Season 16 Conference — 16:10.

Encore ESC-HEET

The parallel meeting started on the Nuke map, which became the choice of the Australian team. At the same time, HEET showed the difference in class already at the start of the match, closing the first half with a score of 11:4. After the side switch, Encore tried to get back into the game, but it was too late. As a result, the French confidently closed the opponent's pick and took the lead in the series - 16:11.

Then the teams moved to the Ancient map, the first half of which ended with a twofold advantage in favor of Encore. However, after the side switch, the Australians disappeared from the server, while HEET took eleven rounds in a row and knocked the Australian team out of the championship - 16:10.

FTW Esports-Sprout

The next match started on the Inferno map, which became the choice of the Portuguese team. However, here the audience did not see the fight, as Sprout confidently closed the map and took the lead in the series - 16:1.

Then the teams moved to the Ancient map, the first half of which ended in a twofold advantage in favor of FTW Esports. It seemed that after the change of sides, the favorite would be able to return to the game, but it turned out to be completely different. As a result, the Portuguese managed to show a confident attack and equalized the score in the series - 16:10.

Everything was decided on the Vertigo map, where the teams failed to identify the strongest in regular time. As a result, everything was decided in overtime, where the representatives of FTW Esports turned out to be stronger — 22:20.

VERTEX ESC - Illuminar Gaming

The parallel meeting started on the Mirage map, which became the choice of the Polish team. At the same time, Illuminar Gaming showed two confident halves at their own peak to easily take the lead in the series - 16:11.

The teams then moved to the Nuke map, which became the VERTEX ESC of choice. However, the Poles immediately got back into the game to close the half in defense with a score of 11:4. After the side switch, the Australian team failed to revive the intrigue, thus ending their performance in the ESL Pro League Season 16 Conference — 16:7.

ORDER-Endpoint

The first of the last two matches of the game day started on the Dust 2 map, which became the Endpoint of choice. At the same time, the teams showed an equal game, almost reaching overtime. And yet, Endpoint managed to snatch victory in the end and took the lead in the series — 16:14.

The teams then moved to the Mirage map, which became the choice of the Australian team. However, the intrigue did not appear on the server here, since Endpoint first showed a confident game in defense, and then did not give up a single round in attack, thus making it to the group stage of ESL Pro League Season 16 - 16:5.

MIBR -TYLOO

The parallel meeting started on the Mirage map, which became the choice of the Chinese team. At the same time, the first half ended with the overwhelming advantage of MIBR, which the team managed to realize after the change of sides. As a result, the Brazilians took the opponent's pick and took the lead in the series — 16:12.

Then the teams moved to the Dust 2 map. Despite the defeat after the first half, TYLOO managed to make a comeback after the side switch and put the game into overtime. However, here MIBR turned out to be a little more lucky to close the series and qualify for ESL Pro League Season 16 - 22:20.
