Sprout unveiled roster at ESL Meisterschaft: Autumn 2022
The German esports organization Sprout has unveiled the roster for the upcoming ESL Meisterschaft: Autumn 2022. Given the rules of the regional championship, the club announced the signing of red and P4TriCK, who will try on the Sprout uniform on August 29th.
A warm welcome to the two German legends who will be joining us! We are very happy that red and P4TriCK have found a home with us and will represent us at ESL Meisterschaft: Autumn 2022. They will complete our final line-up, which was already announced last week, and will represent us in the upcoming ESL German Championship season.
We have been following the German championship from ESL for the last years and the active participation is still close to our hearts. However, this restructuring was a necessary step in order to make itself known internationally.
We understand that most want us to be represented by German players as much as possible. Unfortunately, it is not currently possible to permanently keep two German squads in the top 20, as the past has already shown. However, it is important for us to do our part to keep the German scene alive, especially now that many German organizations have been forced to withdraw from the local scene and thus many German players have lost their home in esports. Until a final solution is found, Christoph and Patrick can continue to pursue their passion with us and continue to play Counter-Strike.
red spent the last one and a half with No Limit Gaming. Together with the team, the 23-year-old won the 99Liga S17 Div. 1 and Legend Series WTA #1, and also took second place at ESL Meisterschaft: Autumn 2021. In turn, P4TriCK previously played for the Unicorns of Love team, which broke up at the end of last year. Together with his former team, the 26-year-old German got into the TOP-3 at the end of ESL Meisterschaft: Spring 2020 and ESL Meisterschaft: Spring 2021.
ESL Meisterschaft: Autumn 2022 will be held online from August 29 to October 1. As part of the championship, twelve local teams will compete for a prize pool of €38,000.
