ECSTATIC and Aurora Gaming leave IEM Road to Rio 2022 European RMR A

The third game day of IEM Road to Rio 2022 European RMR A has come to an end, following which the FaZe Clan and Ninjas in Pajamas teams secured their place in the "legends" of the upcoming IEM Rio Major 2022. At the same time, the teams ECSTATIC and Aurora Gaming suffered their third defeats, as a result, they left the RMR tournament. Day 3 of IEM Road to Rio 2022 European RMR A

The last game day was full of sensations, as several favorites lost their matches at once and significantly complicated their path to the championship. Firstly, Bad News Eagles managed to crush Astralis (16:3). Secondly, the Ukrainian team B8 confidently outplayed fnatic (16:9). While Team Spirit managed to finish off GamerLegion (22:20), 1WIN made another sensation by outplaying G2 Esports (16:13).

In the first match for the Major slot, FaZe Clan defeated Sprout (2:1), while Aurora Gaming lost to Eternal Fire (1:2) and left the RMR tournament. At the very end of the gaming day, the Swedish team Ninjas in Pajamas snatched victory from Cloud9 (2:1) and also qualified for IEM Rio Major 2022. Well, the Danes from ECSTATIC lost to forZe (0:2) and were forced to say goodbye to the championship.
