Outsiders beat Fluxo and reached the playoffs of ESL Challenger at DreamHack Rotterdam 2022
The Outsiders team defeated Fluxo 2:0 and advanced to the playoffs of ESL Challenger at DreamHack Rotterdam 2022, where they will play with MOUZ in the semifinals. In turn, the Brazilian team completes its journey in the championship, taking 5th-6th place and earning $3,000.
The final match of group B started on the Dust 2 map, which became the choice of the Brazilian team. But if the starting segment was left for the players of the Outsiders, then closer to the change of sides, Fluxo managed to slightly straighten the situation - 9:6. After switching sides, the Brazilians managed to seize the initiative and even moved the map to overtime. And yet here the Outsiders managed to survive in extra time, and at the same time took the lead in the series - 19:17.
Next, the teams moved to the Inferno map, which, as expected, became the choice of the Outsiders. Now the starting cut was left for the Brazilians, as well as further the Russian team straightened out its position and got a minimal advantage before switching sides - 8:7. However, in the second half, the intrigue quickly failed from the server, as the Outsiders finally seized the initiative and brought the matter to a victorious end — 16:8.
