Team Spirit makes it to the semi-finals of FiReLEAGUE 2022: Global Finals

Team Spirit turned out to be stronger than WINDINGO with a score of 2:0, thanks to which they made it to the semi-finals of FiReLEAGUE 2022: Global Finals. Here the Russian team will meet the winner of the next MIBR quarter-final - 9z. In turn, the Argentine team leaves the championship, earning $1,500.

The third quarter-final of the competition started on the Dust 2 map, which turned out to be the choice of the Argentine team. At the same time, WINDINGO managed to strain the “dragons”, imposing its pace and crushing the opponent. Nevertheless, the Russian team managed to adjust the game to suit the opponent, and at the same time finish the half in defense with a comfortable advantage - 9:6. After the change of sides, WINDINGO suddenly disappeared from the radar, while the "dragons" instantly took the initiative into their own hands and instantly killed the intrigue. As a result, Team Spirit played well in attack and took the lead in the series — 16:7.

Next, the teams moved to the Nuke map, which became the choice of Team Spirit. Here the Russian team began to take round after round, imposing a fast pace. As a result, Team Spirit played well in attack and actually solved all the issues in advance — 11:4. After the switch of sides, WINDINGO didn't bother to make a comeback, thus allowing the Dragons to score a landslide victory and advance to the semi-finals of the tournament — 16:12.

FiReLEAGUE 2022: Global Finals takes place from 14 to 16 October in Spain at the stadium of the Barcelona football club - Camp Nou. As part of the championship, eight teams from the CIS, Europe and Latin America are fighting for a total prize pool of $150,000.
