Teams Vitality and fnatic got their first wins at IEM Rio Major 2022. According to the results of the starting round, the teams turned out to be stronger than Imperial Esports (16:9) and Cloud9 (19:17). Now the teams will prepare for the second round of the competition, which will begin very soon.

After switching sides, fnatic took the initiative into their own hands, at some point getting real chances to get a victory. But here the Cloud9 team joined the game, which gave out a cool series and switched the map to overtime. And yet here fnatic managed to hold back the opponent in order to get the first victory in the championship — 19:17.
