The matches within the IEM Rio Major 2022 Challengers Stage have died down, as a result of which the teams MOUZ , Bad News Eagles , BIG , Outsiders , FURIA , Vitality , Cloud9 and fnatic made it to the "legends" of the Major. IEM Rio Major 2022 Challengers Stage

The first winner of the Challengers Stage was the MOUZ team, which overcame Outsiders (16:6), Evil Geniuses (16:10) and fnatic (2:1) on their way. Simultaneously with the mice, the Bad News Eagles team made its way further, beating 00NATION (16:3), BIG (16:11) and GamerLegion (2:0) on its way.

BIG, Outsiders and FURIA were next in the "legends" of the tournament. These teams needed one defeat at the start, as a result of which they coped with 9z (2:0), fnatic (2:0) and GamerLegion (2:0) respectively in their playoffs.

Well, according to the results of the fifth round of the Challengers Stage, the teams Vitality, Cloud9 and fnatic made their way to the next stage of the major, which turned out to be stronger than OG (2:1), GamerLegion (2:0) and 9z (2:0), respectively.

IEM Rio Major 2022 takes place from October 31 to November 13 in Brazil at the Jeunesse Arena and at the Riocentro convention center. As part of the championship, 24 teams from the CIS, Europe, North and South America, and Asia are fighting for a total prize pool of $1,250,000, ranking points in the BLAST Premier table, as well as tickets to BLAST Premier: World Final 2022 and IEM Katowice 2023 for the winner.
