BIG and Astralis will play in the playoffs of CCT Central Europe Series 4
Tournament operator REPUBLEAGUE, responsible for holding CCT Central Europe Series 4, presented the list of teams that received an invitation to the championship playoffs. Among them were some well-known names, including BIG and Astralis .
As part of the final online tournament of the season, the Danish team Astralis will try to prove that the departure from the quarterfinals of the CCT North Europe Series 2 was an accident. In turn, BIG will try to redeem themselves for the loss to fnatic in the Elisa Masters Espoo 2022 grand final.
Other playoff invites went to 1WIN, 9INE, forZe, Movistar Riders, Copenhagen Flames and GamerLegion. Probably, one of them will get caught with the favorites in the person of BIG and Astralis already in the 1/4 finals.
According to the results of the Swiss stage, the following teams also made it to the playoffs: HAVU Gaming and HONORIS (three wins); Apeks, Dynamo Eclot and ESTOWNIA (three wins and one loss); ECSTATIC, MASONIC and Young Ninjas (three wins and two losses).
The CCT Central Europe Series 4 Playoffs will begin on Thursday, December 15th in a BO3 Single Elimination Bracket, culminating in the Grand Final on Sunday, December 18th.
