BIG Academy won ESL Meisterschaft: Autumn 2022

The BIG Academy team became the winner of ESL Meisterschaft: Autumn 2022. According to the results of the grand final, the BIG Academy was stronger than Sprout with a score of 2:1 (Inferno - 11:16; Vertigo - 16:12; Overpass - 19:17). Despite this victory, the team will not go to the ESL Pro League Season 17 Conference due to a conflict of interest. This is due to the fact that the BIG organization is a permanent partner of ESL, which means that other club rosters cannot play in ESL Pro League series tournaments.

The event for the German team started in the best possible way, as it scored 10 points in the Play-In and made it to the main group stage. Here, BIG Academy performed a little worse, which did not prevent the team from reaching the playoffs from the second line.

In the decisive stage of the tournament, Anhuin's wards beat Sprout twice (2:1; 2:1) to become the champion of ESL Meisterschaft: Autumn 2022.

The championship will take place from February 21 to 27 in Malta, offering participants a prize pool of $15,000, as well as six tickets to ESL Pro League Season 17.

ESL Meisterschaft: Autumn 2022 was held from August 29 to December 18 in a mixed format. As part of the championship, twelve teams from Germany fought for a total prize pool of €50,000, as well as a ticket to the ESL Pro League Conference Season 17 for the winner.
