IEM Katowice 2023 English Lighting Studio Revealed

Tournament operator ESL has revealed the line-up of the English-language coverage studio for the upcoming IEM Katowice 2023. As expected, the championship in Poland will feature many well-known analysts and commentators who together have covered no major tournament in the past.

Next week we'll be back at the Hall of Heroes and it wouldn't be IEM Katowice 2023 without these incredible people to guide us through all the action!

The main host of the event on stage will be OJ Borg. The Briton covered most of the major tournaments last season, including Intel Extreme Masters XVI - Katowice and Intel Extreme Masters XVII - Cologne.

Working from the studio will be stunna, Freya and DarfMike, replicating last year's coverage team. The interviews will be conducted by experienced Sjokz and James Banks, who have worked together at many competitions in 2022.

Analysts of the event will be YNk, Maniac, Bleh, Mauisnake, kassad and peacemaker. Given this lineup, viewers can expect detailed match analysis.

The well-known SPUNJ, Machine, JustHarry, Hugo Byron, James Bardolph, Hawka, Scrawny and launders became the commentators of the championship.

Earlier, the organizers presented the starting pairs of the Play-In stage, and also revealed the primary seeding of the participants in the IEM Katowice 2023 group stage.

IEM Katowice 2023 will take place from 1 to 12 February in Katowice at the Spodek Arena. As part of the championship, 24 teams from the CIS, Europe, North and Latin America, Asia and Oceania will compete for a total prize pool of $1,000,000, as well as a ticket to IEM Cologne 2023 for the winner.
