Cloud9 and FaZe Clan to play for the ESL Pro League Season 17 title
The semi-finals of ESL Pro League Season 17 are now over. As a result, Cloud9 and FaZe Clan made it to the grand final, where they'll compete for the title today, March 26. ENCE and NAVI finished their turn, taking 3-4 places and earning $50,000.
In the first semifinal of the tournament the Russian team Cloud9 managed to outplay ENCE 2-1 (Ancient - 10:16; Overpass - 16:12; Vertigo - 16:9). Late in the evening FaZe Clan also managed to get a 2:1 victory over NAVI (Ancient - 7:16; Nuke - 16:8; Mirage - 16:9).
It should be noted that if FaZe Clan wins, it will be the winner of the fourth Intel Grand Slam season. It will probably be the last CS:GO event because the scene will be transformed to the Counter-Strike 2 reality this summer.
ESL Pro League Season 17 takes place from February 22 to March 26 in Malta. Thirty-two teams from across the CIS, Europe, North America, Latin America, Asia and Oceania compete for a combined prize pool of $850,000 as well as trips to IEM Cologne 2023 and BLAST World Final 2023 for the winner.
