Several decisive matches of the group stage have already come to an end. We now know the top three players to make the playoffs, as well as the first couple of teams to leave the championship. The lucky ones were Fnatic, mousesports and Virtus.pro, who took first places in Group A, Group B and Group C, respectively. Complexity Gaming and FaZe Clan finished last in Group A and Group B, respectively. NiP also ranked fourth in their group, but they did the best. The ratio of rounds lost to won rounds was -19, while Complexity and FaZe had these figures equal to -24 and -31, respectively.
Today will bring the group stage to an end, after which we will find out the names of three more teams that will go to the final stage. Three other teams will go to Play-In, where they will compete with NiP for two additional invites to the playoffs.
Cs_summit 7 runs from January 25th to January 31st. The total prize pool of the championship is $ 200,000, $ 90,000 of which will go into the winner's pocket. The silver medalist will take $ 40,000, and the teams that take 3-4 places in the standings will receive $ 12,500 each. The remaining $ 45,000 will be played in the group stage. Teams that take 1st place in their groups will receive bonuses of $ 10,000, and teams that take 2nd place will earn $ 5,000.
