BTS Pro Series Season 9 SEA: OB.Neon & Polaris Esports Advance To Second Round Of Lower Bracket

The matches of the first game day of the BTS Pro Series Season 9 SEA playoffs have come to an end. Finally, Bo3-confrontations began in the tournament and each match could be longer than what we could see in the group stage.

In the first confrontations, OB.Neon and Execration, as well as Polaris Esports and Army Geniuses, played against each other.

In the debut confrontation, ON.Neon defeated Execration on the first map in 51 minutes. Slark and Dragon Knight helped them in this matter. On the second map, OB.Neon decided to retreat from what was on map 1 and made a modified pick. The choice in favor of Medusa and Windranger did not help them and Execration broke the throne in 30 minutes and brought the game to a draw. on the third map, OB.Neon again rallied and surprised their opponents by making a pick that will not be repeated by any character from the first two maps. Terrorblade teamed up with Queen of Pain and Winter Wyvern to help the team win the third map and send Execration to watch the championship events as a spectator.

The second playoff confrontation took place with the participation of Polaris Esports and Army Geniuses. The first map was one of the longest in the entire BTS Pro Series Season 9 SEA and finished in 54 minutes. There Polaris Esports harnessed the power of Monkey King and Death Prophet. In the second map, they completely changed their pick, but this did not prevent them from completing the battle in 41 minutes. Now Army Geniuses, just like Execration, are forced to pack their bags and go to watch what is happening in the tournament as spectators.

Now we know the fate of the three participants in the ongoing BTS Pro Series Season 9. Let us remind you that Omega Esports finished their journey in the event as the very first, and did not reach the playoffs. For finishing 9th place, they received a reward of $ 750. Execration and Army Geniuses, in turn, ranked 7-8 in the standings and thus earned $ 1,500 each.
