Balrogs and Randoms Esports made it to the closed qualifier for DPC SA 2021/22 Tour 1

The first open qualifying round for DPC SA 2021/22 Tour 1 has come to an end. Balrogs and Randoms Esports performed better than their opponents and will now compete for invites to DPC SA 2021/22 Tour 1 Division II.

In one of the decisive confrontations, the Balrogs fought GodGenesis. There the first map was completed in 28 minutes. The Balrogs used Weaver and Medusa to achieve their goal and the map was easy enough for them. On the second map, they changed their approach to picking heroes and made a completely different pick of heroes. This time, Razor carried all the murderous power in their team, and Void Spirit helped him in this. The second map ended in 40 minutes in favor of the Balrogs, and thus they became the first team that managed to break into the closed qualifiers of DPC SA 2021/22 Tour 1.

In the second showdown, Randoms Esports faced off against PAREDAO. The first map was won by PAREDAO in 41 minutes. They chose heroes like Wraith King and Storm Spirit to win. On the second map, Randoms Esports put up good resistance and, as a result, prevailed against PAREDAO in 39 minutes and brought the game to a draw. Their deadly weapon was Monkey King as a carry. The third map was different from the first two and was quite balanced. Randoms Esports showed great performance on Morphling so that the carry finished 11-0-6 without ever dying, which doesn't happen very often on the professional scene. The map was completed in 42 minutes, and the total score on the scoreboard was 26-23 in favor of Random Esports.

PAREDAO tried their hand in the second open qualifier, but remained one step away from reaching the final.

After the completion of the second open qualifying round, we will find out the full list of participants in the closed qualifier for DPC SA 2021/22 Tour 1 Division II.

The second division matches will take place from November 29 to January 22. There, the teams will share a total prize pool of $ 75,000. The two best participants of the event will receive invitations to the first division, in which more than $ 200,000 will be drawn, and invites to the Major tournament.
