Team Liquid became the champion of Gamers Without Borders 2022: Europe & CIS

Gamers Without Borders 2022: Europe & CIS has come to an end. At the championship, which was held online from May 4 to 8, four teams from Europe fought for $500,000 allocated to charity. The winner of the tournament was Team Liquid, which in the grand final of the competition was stronger than Tundra Esports with a score of 2:1.

The championship for the future winner began with a defeat from Tundra Esports (0:2) in the semifinals. Once in the lower bracket, Team Liquid managed to get past Gaimin Gladiators (2:0) and Nigma Galaxy (2:0), thus making it to the grand final. In the decisive match of the championship, the team took revenge on Tundra Esports (2:1), earning an invitation to the Gamers Without Borders 2022 LAN finals.

Note that the entire prize pool of Gamers Without Borders 2022: Europe & CIS, awarded to teams based on the results of the tournament, will be donated to charity. The final part of the event will take place from July 21 to 24 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where $3,200,000 will be raffled off.
