The penultimate game week of the DPC SEA 2021/2022 Tour 3 closes with a meeting between the tournament favorites BOOM Esports and the no less worthy Fnatic team. The former are the main contenders for a ticket to the PGL Arlington Major, while the Orange will have to work hard to get the long-awaited invite.

BOOM Esports is currently on a great winning streak, although it hasn't been without its difficulties. The first match against Team SMG was a struggle and ended in a 2-1 score, after which the team earned the only defeat in the second game week from Talon Esports (1-2). After that, a controversial victory over NGX.SEA (2-1), and closed to zero matches against T1 (2-0) and Polaris (2-0). Earlier in the match against T1, Boom was played by Mushi, who managed not to let his players down. In the final result, the team settled on the first line of the rating with a score of 5-1, and so far has the best chances to get to the major.

The second team had a similar situation, a confident streak of three wins by Fnatic over: NGX.SEA (2-1), RSG (2-1), Talon (2-0), was interrupted in the fourth game week by a defeat from SMG (0-2). As a result, the last victory over Polaris (2-0) brought the team to the third place in the ranking with a score of 4-1. But things are not so rosy for the team yet, because they have two more matches to play, and RSG are on their tail, also taking 3rd place.

As part of the tournament, the teams have not met before, but this time there will be something to look at. Both teams need to reinforce their position in the rankings, but if this is the last match of the tour for BOOM, then Fnatic is ahead of T1, so it is extremely important for them to get two more wins.
