Team Aster qualified for ESL One Malaysia 2022

The closed qualifier for ESL One Malaysia 2022 for the Chinese region has ended, as a result of which Team Aster has received the right to play in the upcoming championship in Malaysia. We propose to highlight the results of the last closed qualifier and present the interim line-up of participants in ESL One Malaysia 2022.

During the closed qualifier, the Chinese team successfully defeated Team Mars (2:0), Dandelion Esport Club (2:0) and LBZS (2:0), thus making it to the grand final. Here, Team Aster again proved to be stronger than LBZS (3:0), thanks to which they deserved a ticket to ESL One Malaysia 2022.

Note that the nearest championship for LaNm's wards will be PGL Arlington Major 2022. The Chinese team was in the same group with representatives of Tundra Esports, Team Spirit, Natus Vincere, Evil Geniuses, Entity, BOOM Esports and beastcoast.

ESL One Malaysia 2022 will take place from August 23 to 28 at Genting Highlands at the Arena of Stars. Twelve teams from Europe, Southeast Asia, China, North and South America will take part in the championship and compete for a total prize pool of $400,000.

The current ESL One Malaysia 2022 roster is as follows: OG, Fnatic, Alliance, Team Liquid, Team Secret, Nigma Galaxy, BOOM Esports, Thunder Awaken, Team Aster and Talon Esports.
