Digest of the fourth game day of the PGL Arlington Major

Yesterday ended the fourth game day of the PGL Arlington Major, the main Dota 2 esports tournament in August. The last matches of group B were played, which means that the names of the first participants in the playoffs of the championship are already known.

Having outplayed the Outsiders, PSG.LGD became the winner of Group A without losing a single match. The only card Ame and the team lost to the 9th place of the group, the club Soniqs. Soniqs, formerly known as Quincy Crew, are showing frankly weak play. If YawaR and his teammates don't perform a miracle in the match against the Outsiders, then they shouldn't count on replays. The matches in group B came to an end. Unlike group A, 8 teams were represented here, since Xtreme Gaming did not come to the Major due to the fact that their carry could not get a visa to the USA.

Natus Vincere and Tundra Esports leave the tournament. It is worth noting that the Born to Win have a good individual performance, but drafts fail very badly. The reason may be the lack of a squad coach. Tundra have not been able to win a single victory at all and deservedly miss the playoffs.

BOOM Esports avoided replays for 4th place by drawing group winner Team Aster yesterday. Entity and the champions of The International 10, Team Spirit will also enter the upper bracket. Recall that the PGL Arlington Major takes place from 4 to 14 August this year. The top 17 teams from around the world compete for the $500,000 prize pool and 4,570 DPC points needed to qualify for The International 2022. The venue is Esports Stadium Arlington in Arlington, Texas. The winner will receive the main prize of $200,000 and 820 DPC points.
