After the sensational PGL Arlington Major, we are transferred to the more modest Gamers Galaxy in Thailand, which we wrote about earlier. Today we will tell you how the first day of the group stage ended.

During the first game day, Talon Esports earned two victories, as a result, gaining a foothold in the leading position in the group. Polaris is next. Having lost against the favorites, the Philippine team rehabilitated itself in the next match. BOOM together with Army Geniuses occupy the last position, and if no one expected results from the latter, then the former are extremely surprising, given their performance at the last major.

After the first game day, Execration takes the leading position in the group. The only team that did not earn a defeat, however, this was also affected by the number of matches, most of the participants played 2 matches, while the favorites only one. SMG and RSG are next, both have one win and one loss each. In last place is Fnatic, and to be honest, after a poor performance at the Major, it's no wonder they keep losing.

Recall that GAMERS GALAXY: Invitational Series Thailand 2022 takes place from August 18 to 20 of this year, in Hat Yai in southern Thailand. Eight teams from Southeast Asia are battling it out for a $150,000 prize pool and the championship title.
