Alliance.LATAM became the champion of EPL World Series: America Season 2

The EPL World Series: America Season 2 has come to an end. As part of the competition, which took place from November 21 to December 23 online, ten teams from North and Latin America fought for a total prize pool of $20,000. The Alliance.LATAM team became the champion of the event, which turned out to be stronger than Balrogs in the grand final with a score of 3:0.

The tournament for the Peruvian team started with an excellent performance at the group stage, during which they won seven victories and suffered two losses in order to get into the playoffs from the first line of the competition.

Here Alliance.LATAM lost to Team DogChamp (0:2) already in the semi-finals, falling prematurely into the lower bracket. However, in this case, the team managed to catch a second wind to beat Ravens (2:1), Team Brasil (2:1) and Team DogChamp (2:1) one by one.

Having made it to the grand final, the Peruvian team easily defeated the Balrogs (3:0) to become the champion of the EPL World Series: America Season 2 and earn a prize of $10,000.

Note that this was the first championship for the former Hokori wing of the Swedish club. Now the team will start preparing for DPC SA 2023 Tour 3: Division I, which will start on January 10th.
