Gaimin Gladiators Win BetBoom Xmas Show
The Gaimin Gladiators team became the winner of the BetBoom Xmas Show. In the grand final of the championship, Seleri and the company were stronger than Team Spirit with a score of 3:2, thanks to which they earned a prize of $25,000.
Gaimin Gladiators, like three other teams, received invitations to the playoffs of the competition. However, the team went through their first opponents very confidently, beating Nemiga Gaming (2:0) and Virtus.pro (2:0). Then the European team lost to Team Spirit (0:2) and fell into the lower bracket.
Nevertheless, here the former wards of ImmortalFaith managed to cope with Nemiga Gaming (2:1) for the second time to get to the grand final. In the final match of the competition, Gaimin Gladiators managed to take revenge on Team Spirit (3:2) to become the winner of the competition and earn $25,000.
Now the European team will begin preparations for the new season, which will begin on January 9 as part of the DPC WEU 2023 Tour 1: Division I.
BetBoom Xmas Show took place from December 16 to 29 online. As part of the championship, fourteen teams from Europe and the CIS competed for a total prize pool of $50,000.
