EPIC League Season 2 Announced
EPIC League Season 2 will replace OMEGA League Season 2. Teams from Europe and the CIS will take part in the championship. We will be able to watch the game of such teams as NAVI, Team Secret and others.
EPIC League Season 2 will be split into two divisions. Ten teams will play in the first one. The group stage there, by the way, will be held in a circular system. The format will also affect the number of matches that will be played within the league. Now the organizers will not have 30 confrontations as in the first season, but 45.
Epic Esports Events issued eight invitations. Team Secret, Virtus.pro, Natus Vincere, OG, Nigma, Team Liquid, Alliance and ViKin.gg became the lucky owners of invites. The two remaining places will be taken by the best participants in the closed qualifier. They will take place from November 3-11. The organizers will also hold an open qualifying round. It will take place from October 29 to 30 and will be hosted on the FACEIT platform.
The main event of EPIC League Season 2 will run from November 12 to December 13. Similar to the first season, the first division will compete for a total prize pool of $ 500,000, while the second division teams will share $ 50,000.
