We are once again watching the battles of DPC 2023: EEU Division 1 Tour 3, but this time with a betting round on One Move vs Hydra. The teams will close out the first round of replay for the right to remain in the top division.

As before, there are two top division places at stake. Hydra and One Move will play their second match and simultaneously close out the first round of round-robin replay.

The teams look the same to me. But then again, perhaps that's the problem with current Eastern Europe, where even the top three favorites Spirit, 9Pandas and BB Team are always playing at odds. So what to say about "yawners" like One Move and Hydra.

In any case, we will see which team will be stronger in this bo1, get the victory and maybe get into the top division for next season.

Let's start the parsing of the match by analysing One Move's playing form. And this time it's not because they are favourites for the meeting.

Bookmakers in this case both believe and do not believe in the success of One Move. That's how the odds on the victory of 1.87.

And it looks quite logical, I dare say. Why give less? In theory, you could give One Move a premium for stability, but it is not clear whether it benefits or not.

In the first round of the DPC One Move finished in the top 5. They were 2-5 at the time, but to be fair they looked decent in a number of games.

In the second round of DPC 2023: EEU Division 1, the team improved slightly, closing the league 3-4. However, that still made it 5 ppl, so it didn't count.

There were also games at local events like Games of Future, where Keyd Stars won the grand final, and Pinnacle Cup: Malta Vibes #1, where One Move completely failed: finished in the top 16.

The most favoured One Move hero from the previous season was Tiny (31 matches, 54% win rate). Next are Pangolier (19 games, 57% wins), Mirana (19 games, 52% wins), Rubick (19 games, 47% wins).

Also appearing in spades at One Move were Tusk (17 matches, 52% wins), Timbersaw (16 matches, 56% wins), Ember Spirit (15 matches, 60% wins).

Hydra Form

Continuing our analysis of Hydra's form. In this match, the team will play in an equal status with One Move.

The bookmakers are confused and do not want to single out favorites and outsiders here. You can understand them, because both sides are playing for keeps, that's why they get 1.87 to win.

This is the normal figure for Hydra in the new season. They're a standard example of a TIR-2 team in Eastern Europe, and such a status sounds like a verdict, as it were. It would be good to rectify the situation, but there's no way to do it yet.

Hydra can hardly boast serious results, but to be fair they somehow stay in the top division and somehow reach tiebreaks. There is, after all, plenty of powder in their powders. There was, for example, at the EPL Winter Holidays where Hydra won their only cup in 2023.

Hydra have also participated and are participating in the DPC ecosystem. In the first round of the DPC 2023: EEU Upper Division Hydra won the second division, and then finished in the top 6 in the first league in the second season. In addition, Batrider (21 matches, 76% wins), Keeper of the Light (19 matches, 84% win rate), Clockwerk (19 matches, 63% win rate) are often played.

The teams have previously played each other twice in the DPC ecosystem. Both matches went to One Move (winning 2-1 and 2-1).

Match outcome

By all appearances, we're looking at the most evenly matched first leg of the tiebreak, but it won't be any less chaotic for that. It may even be the other way round.

Given the history of head-to-head encounters, I'll put my money on One Move here. I'll allow for a different outcome, as it's a bot1, but still.
