As part of our review of DPC 2023: WEU Division 1 Tour 3, we have prepared a betting tip on the OG - Entity match. The teams will meet on June 2 and their match stunts the centrepiece of the day. Central in every sense.

At stake is the opportunity to retain their place in the top DPC division. Both teams are in a very fragile position prior to the Long Convergence game and are threatened with relegation to the second division, so they need to pick up points here and now.

This is especially true for Entity. Fishman's team has the last match, which means there is no margin for error, and there is nowhere to make it.

OG have 2 more games to go, but judging by their level of play this season, that doesn't make it any easier. Even beating Entity doesn't guarantee them a slot in the top division.

The bookmakers confirm the pre-match position for Entity. The odds on Fishman's team to win are at 1.6.

Truth be told, if it wasn't for the current OG, the current Entity wouldn't be able to boast of having a lead over their rivals. After a very respectable Long Cogneaga 2023 season, Entity are in a slump.

DPC and company played average in the first round, but a three-team replay helped them reach the Top 4 and qualify for The Lima Major 2023. At the first Major event of the season, The Lima Major 2023, the team made it to the top 6, which was a good result, but it got worse from there.

On DPC 2023 WEU Division 1 Tour 2 Entity looked even worse. They made it to TOP-6 but even that was good, they saved a slot and that was enough.

Between the end of the previous cycle and the end of the new one, Entity visited DreamLeague S19, but there it was, to put it mildly, so-so. Entity couldn't win a single game and consequently left the tournament at the Top 16 stage.

Entity were 2-4 up until the end of the match. The squad has only one game left, the last chance to stay in the first division: A defeat would very likely guarantee relegation to the second division.

Entity's most popular heroes

Entity took Mirana (5 games, 20% wins), Pangolier (3 games, 33% wins), Rubick (3 games, 33% wins), Bane (2 games, 50% wins).

Dark Seer, Pugna, Storm Spirit and Anti-Mage also appeared in spades. All were picked twice, but none won even once.

In the match before that Entity Ledge or D1 Hustlers. They made trouble, there's no other way to put it.

OG Form

Let's move on to an analysis of OG's form. In this match, the team plays number two.

The odds of OG's success are estimated at around 2.1. A figure like that hints at a close match, but the gap is still noticeable.

This is not surprising, as OG are not shining at all this season. The main problem with OG is the confusion around the roster: almost every match OG played with substitutes, while Taiga either rested or something else. All this has resulted in not the most pleasant consequences during the current season, because in the previous season, OG felt much better.

At DPC 2023: WEU Division 1 Tour 1 OG could not guarantee a place in the top 4 and consequently missed out on The Lima Major 2023. Things seemed to pick up during the second round of DPC 2023: WEU Division 1. OG then made a strong comeback and moved into the Top 4 after tiebreaks.

In the Berlin Major the team played with two stand-ins and finished in top 6, but it seems that these stand-ins were the secret of their success. After returning to regular season matches with a full roster, OG look critically bad.

Almost all matches of the third round the team played without Taiga. There was no official information on Taiga's absence, but the Norwegian soon returned to matches.

Taiga was unable to help the crumbling OG. The team has not won a single match with him, with the only victory remaining a win over Secret at the Long Song of the season.

Degradation can be seen on many levels, from the strategies chosen to the implementation of those same strategies.

Result of the match

From this match I expect an extravaganza of mistakes and a lot of mistakes. Both teams look "tired" and are unlikely to show a decent level of play. However, the winner can be chosen and let it be the OG.

Both teams are in maximum tilt, but it seems that a defeat by the D1 Hustlers could kill Entity for good. We already saw OG comeback from an unenviable position last season and the history of head-to-head encounters is in their favour.
