The 2023 season has seen very few games between China and Eastern Europe. But they are the top 2 and 3 regions in terms of power, which obviously adds to the excitement for the PSG.LGD - Team Spirit match.

The last tournament before DreamLeague Season 20 was DreamLeague S20 for the Dragons. There, the Eastern Europeans finished in the Top 5, which is not a bad result, considering the above-mentioned results for the year.
The Bali Major 2023 began well for Team Spirit, but later fell apart and as a result, the Spirit found themselves in the lower reaches of the play-offs. They finished the group stage of the tournament 2-5-1 and 9-7 on map.
