LPL Summer 2022: digest for 14.06

Ця стаття доступна наступними мовами

Warm greetings to all eSports lovers! In this article, I will collect all the most basic and interesting information about the results of today's continental league and, accordingly, League of Legends Summer Split 2022. And if you didn't have time to watch the games yourself, this is a good opportunity to learn about the details quickly and in detail!

Summer, like any other splits, traditionally opened China instead with its LPL Summer 2022. This is due to the fact that China is much larger than other regions in terms of the number of teams, as many as 17, when the standard is 10. And, accordingly, the group stage should be carried out faster.

I think that today can be safely called the day of fulfillment of expectations. The second gaming week of the summer split from China is in full swing. And already, in such a short time, we had quite a few unexpected results and victories of nominal underdogs. Today, however, both favorites took back their promised matches.

The meetings took place between four teams: first, JD Gaming played with LGD Gaming with a score of 2:1, after which everyone was waiting for the match with Top Esports against Team WE, which ended in a 2:0 score.

What was in today's games?

The day for the Chinese Continental League began with a three -time top laner MVP match , which is already quite unusual. The meeting between JD Gaming and fresh LGD Gaming, who had already played before, for whom this match was the first in the group stage of LPL Summer 2022. The first map came out quite even, with small swings, but in general, the advantage was always felt more for LGD. Fearness on his Fiora turned out to be everywhere where he needed to and was able to push the map enough not to lose the game, which was how he got the MVP. In the remaining two maps, JDG decided to get together and show why they are considered a team one level higher. The second and third cards went under their dictation. Thanks to the teamwork of mid laner Yagao and Kanavi in the jungle , 369 had a free hand to build potential and roam when needed. First on Gangplank, and then on Sett: split-push, participation in fights brought him two MVPs in a row.

The second match of this Tuesday turned out to be a little more chaotic than we could have imagined. Although I previously expressed extreme skepticism about the Top Esports team, I did not deny their strength and capabilities in any way.

They had absolute map control in both games, but even so, the players managed to sometimes throw where it was worth avoiding. That's why I slander the slightly chaotic style of TES play.

In general, due to the total view dominance and excellent team movements, Team We got lost and could not correctly calculate their strengths in almost every teamfight.

Top Esports dragged out the first map a lot, reaching 42 minutes of play without more kills. While the second map, I can not call it anything other than a massacre. The score was 15:3 on kills in the 20th minute in favor of TES and 23:7 at the end, where JackeyLove on Ezreal was already playing for steel points. And the property of the knight team finished both games on Ahri with Medjay for 25 souls. They got MVP, knight and JackeyLove.

Top and uncommon picks and bans

The top champions in terms of the number of draft picks remain the same: Viego is at the top by a good margin, Ezreal and Ahri are catching up.

But the bans today were slightly different than usual. Teams focused more on getting Lucian out of the game while leaving Gwen, who was picked three times in a day.

Of the interesting peaks, only one moment can be distinguished. Following the triumphant games from Invictus Gaming, perhaps LGD Gaming took over the idea and drafted a bunch of mid-lane Sett and Diana in the woods, but not to Swain, but to Ahri. As a result, the bundle did not become as effective as that of iG.
