LPL Summer 2022 moves to double-elimination format
The third round of the Chinese league in League of Legends has come to an end. At its end, two more teams left the location of LPL Summer 2022, which ended their participation in the event. In the next confrontations, Top Esports will fight with EDward Gaming, while JD Gaming will play against LNG Esports.
LPL Summer 2022 runs from June 10 to September 1. The total prize fund of the championship is ~$620,000. It will be distributed among the top six players in the league. The winner will not only receive the main cash prize of $295,000, but will also earn an invite to the 2022 World Championship with a prize pool of $2,225,000. The first teams to enter the top 6 were Royal Never Give Up and Victory Five, who took 5-6 places. The teams received rewards of $29,500.
