In turn, "liquid" went to the quarterfinals of the lower bracket, where they will meet with Counter Logic Gaming.
The first semi-final of the playoffs began with the total dominance of 100 Thieves, who took two opening games in 55 minutes in total and received great help. However, Reapered's wards clearly relaxed, as they allowed Team Liquid to bounce back and level the score in the series. And yet, at the end of the fight, 100 Thieves managed to show great initiative to close the fifth game in their favor and go further along the upper bracket.
