LOUD will represent Brazil at World Championship 2022

CBLOL Split 2 2022 has come to an end. As part of the championship, which was held from June 11 to September 3 in Sao Paulo at Arena CBLOL, ten Brazilian teams competed for a prize pool of $76,361, as well as one direct ticket to the World Championship 2022. The winner of the tournament was the LOUD team, which in the grand final was stronger than paiN Gaming with a score of 3:0.

The championship for the future winner began with a not very successful performance in the group stage, during which the Brazilian team won 12 wins and suffered 6 losses, taking the final fourth place in the regular season.

However, in the playoffs, LOUD changed noticeably, having already beaten RED Canids (3:1) in the semi-finals. Having made it to the final of the upper bracket, the team failed to outplay paiN Gaming (2:3) and fell to the lower part of the championship. Here the team managed to cope with FURIA Esports (3:0) to get to the grand final and take revenge on paiN Gaming (3:0).

The 2022 World Championship will take place from September 29 to November 5 in Mexico and the United States. The Play-In stage will take place from September 29 to October 4 at the Arena Esports Stadium in Mexico City, and the group stage will take place from October 7-10 and October 13-16 at the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden. As part of the championship, 24 teams from all over the world (excluding the CIS) will compete for a total prize pool of $2,225,000.
