Champions Queue is coming back to life in League of Legends, and this time it's going global. In this way, Riot Games is creating the most adaptable and competitive training space for teams for the upcoming 2022 Season World Championship .

Previously, this experience was only available to North American players. But after a successful season in the summer of 2022, Riot invites all teams participating in the world championship to join the Champions Queue. But in addition to them, active players from other teams from leagues that can qualify for Worlds will also be able to get on the server. An additional condition is a mandatory visit to America. The decision to accept players is made by the Champions Queue Council, which will be made up primarily of LCS professionals.

As before, Champions Queue will have a built-in voice communication system along with a slightly modified MMP system. And in order to reduce matchmaking time and less distraction from regional ranked games, the server will be available at certain time intervals, which will be announced in advance. And the entire gameplay will take place on the Worlds patch, that is, 12.18.

In order to provide players with the least possible delay, the server will move along with the various stages of the 2022 Season World Championship. First in Mexico City at the Play-In stage, then Chicago during the group and semi-finals, and finally the finals in Los Angeles.
