Six Invitational 2022: Team Empire and DAMWON Gaming take the lead in their groups
The second round in groups A and D of the Six Invitational 2022 has come to an end, following which Team Empire and DAMWON Gaming have taken the lead in their quintets. We get acquainted with the results of past matches and prepare for the battle in the remaining two groups B and C.
Group A
The sole leader of group A was the Russian team Team Empire. In the second round of the competition, Zheka's wards got a confident victory over the Brazilians from Ninjas in Pajamas (2:0), thereby worsening the position of last year's Six Invitational 2021 champions.
At the same time, the British team MNM Gaming made a great debut at the championship, having won a difficult victory over SANDBOX Gaming (2:0). Nevertheless, the British managed to earn three points, thus placing themselves on the second line of their quintet.
Match MVP awards went to Dan and Solotov from Team Empire and MNM Gaming, respectively.

According to the results of the second round of the Six Invitational 2022 in Group D, DAMWON Gaming strengthened its leadership. This time, the South Korean team turned out to be stronger than the Brazilians from MIBR (2:0), making their fans nervous only on the first map of Chalet.
At the same time, the Brazilians from Team oNe eSports got their first points in the championship, which turned out to be stronger than the representatives of Natus Vincere (2:1). At the same time, the meeting was not in favor of the Brazilian team, which turned out to be catching up on the results of the Oregon map. However, Team oNe eSports was stronger than the rivals at Kafe Dostoyevsky and Villa, thanks to which the team earned their first points in the tournament.
Match MVP awards went to Alem4o and Woogiman from Team oNe eSports and DAMWON Gaming, respectively. Note that this is the second individual award for the South Korean esportsman.
