Team Empire reached the Grand Finals of the Six Invitational 2022

Team Empire outplayed TSM with a score of 2:1 and reached the grand final of the Six Invitational 2022. After this defeat, the North American team fell to the lower bracket final, where they will meet with the winner of the MIBR meeting - FaZe Clan.

The fight started on the Bank map, where the Russian team quickly seized the advantage, converting which took the lead in the series (7:4). However, already at Kafe Dostoyevsky, the North Americans managed to give a commensurate answer, literally defeating Team Empire (7:2). Everything was decided on the Coastline map, where the Russian team got an important victory in the very end and advanced to the grand final of the competition (7:5).

Now Team Empire will be waiting for their opponent in the Six Invitational 2022 Grand Final, which will be determined based on the results of the next two matches.

The Six Invitational 2022 takes place from 8 to 20 February at the Stockholmsmässan Exhibition Center in Stockholm. Twenty teams compete for a prize pool of $3,000,000, while the winner will get $1,000,000.
