Recap NRG's path to the championship
NRG was announced about their readiness to win from the very start of the tournament. In Swiss, the team finished 3-1, losing only once against Team Envy.
After reaching the playoffs, NRG defeated Spacestation Gaming in the first round (4-2), and then took revenge on Team Envy in the semifinals (3-2). In the fight for the champion title, the club beat G2 Esports, losing the first set 3-4, and then taking two sets in their favor: 4-0 and 4-1.
